Gallagher Evelius & Jones is pleased to announce that James C. Buck has become a partner in the firm. James advises health systems, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers on a range of business and regulatory issues, including corporate governance and structure, physician recruitment and employment, certificate of need proceedings, and the federal False Claims Act and anti-kickback and Stark laws. He also works closely with health care clients on corporate compliance including compliance program assessments, the development of compliance policies, and training and education.

Before entering private practice, James served for two years as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James A. Kenney III of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. A cum laude graduate of Dickinson College, he holds a J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law.
