As the data privacy landscape continues to evolve, Leah Irwin stands ready to help clients navigate the fragmented regulatory environment.
Leveraging her experience with jurisdictions across the United States and abroad, Leah advises clients on domestic and international data privacy laws, providing practical, business-oriented strategies for compliance. She has particular experience with advising on the data privacy aspects of mergers and acquisitions, vendor contracts, ad tech compliance, cybersecurity incident response, disclosures related to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Maryland Online Data Privacy Act (MODPA) and other state-level laws, and conducting data mapping exercises and privacy impact assessments.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Leah held numerous in-house roles, most recently at a Fortune 500 global investment management firm and brings a deep understanding of how to operationalize data privacy practices. She enjoys working with business partners to find creative solutions to even the thorniest problems.
