BALTIMORE July 8, 2010 Gallagher Evelius & Jones LLP is pleased to announce that Timothy F. Berger has joined the firm's tax practice as an associate.
Mr. Berger advises clients on federal and state tax issues. His practice involves tax planning and advice with a focus on real property investments and corporate and partnership tax issues and transactions, tax credit transactions, and controversies with the IRS.
"Tim's experience will enhance our ability to provide clients with comprehensive counsel on important tax issues," commented Dave Raderman, head of Gallagher's tax group. "He will be a great asset to our clients and within our firm."
Mr. Berger is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law. He graduated Order of the Coif in 2006, and served as Articles Editor of the Maryland Law Review. He earned his B.A. from Brown University in 1999.

Before joining Gallagher, Mr. Berger was an associate at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. Prior to law school, he worked as an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown.
Mr. Berger is admitted to the Maryland and Washington D.C. bar associations.
