Biography
Jessica Lang Weston focuses on affordable housing, real estate taxation and tax credit transactions. She has represented developers, investors and syndicators across the country in transactions utilizing federal and state low-income housing tax credits, federal and state historic tax credits and federal new markets tax credits. She also has substantial experience with the taxation of pass-through entities such as partnerships and limited liability companies and general corporate taxation, and advises clients regarding various federal and state financing programs. Prior to joining the firm, Jessica served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jay C. Waldman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and worked as an associate in a law firm in Washington, DC.

- Counsel to leading national syndicator of low-income housing tax credits, closing affordable housing projects throughout the country.
- Counsel to Ohio nonprofit utilizing new markets tax credits equity and other sources of funds to finance the renovation of the nonprofit’s headquarters.
- Counsel to historic tax credit syndicator relating to $30 million renovation of historic office towers in Texas and a $50 million rehabilitation of buildings in New Jersey.
- Counsel to local developer using historic and new markets tax credit equity to rehabilitate and construct mixed-use projects in Maryland.
